Severn the Sailing Club's historic yacht took part in the Royal Barrow Festival of Seas on the weekend of Aug 8/9th. Also taking part was Hearts of Oak, a Morecambe Bay Prawner built in Ulverston in 1912

Severn was built by Crossfields in Arnside in 1912. She was acquired by the Sailing Club in 2018. Severn was restored at the cost of £160,000 between 2022 and 2026 supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and other grants.
